Michael Brncik

One of Florida’s Fall 2002 scholarship recipients is Michael Brncik. Michael’s goal is to earn a bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of South Florida.

Michael earned the distinction of early promotion by receiving Senior Airmen Below the Zone while serving in the United States Air Force. This is a program designed to award exceptional airmen who excel on their job and demonstrate leadership characteristics.

Michael has participated in the Engineering Expo that gave him the opportunity to reach out to the community and show young people what engineering is all about.

In addition to his academic studies, Michael had the opportunity to participate in a Meals on Wheels Program. Michael also is a volunteer that goes into the inner city to bring a message of hope to the “inner city kids” where he encourages these young people to finish high school and go on to college.
