Open Door Sustaining Member Program
A Living Legacy of Support
The Open Door invites all of its friends and supporters to join us in our new campaign, “The Open Door Sustaining Member Campaign."
During these unpredictable economic times, it is important to remember that their will always be a need for trained and talented technology professionals in the United States. Without an incredible talent base, the United States will lose its leadership position in technology. We must not give up on our future! It is now more than ever that we must SUSTAIN and GROW our US technology talent!
The Open Door is working to do just that! Please join this new effort that will help sustain the Open Door as well as ensure that the Open Door achieves its mission of increasing the number of trained and qualified technology professionals in the United States.
How can you participate?
As a Sustaining Member, you will be a leader in securing the Open Door’s future.

Sustaining Members donate $100 or more per month to the Open Door for a minimum of One Year.
- 50% of your gift will be used to support the current year's operations of the Open Door - allowing it to continue to operate during these turbulent financial times.
- 50% of your gift to the Sustaining Member Campaign will be placed into the Sustaining Member Endowment Fund - creating a living legacy of support.
What is the Sustaining Member Endowment?
The Sustaining Member Endowment:
- acts as a cornerstone, allowing The Open Door to plan for future technology education outreach activities that will enrich the lives of young people across the United States.
- allows The Open Door to preserve financial gifts for all time by holding them in perpetuity, investing the principal, and using only the income from those investments for specific purposes approved by the Board of Directors.
- creates a special relationship between important Open Door programs and initiatives and the dedicated people - the Sustaining Members - wishing to sustain them for generations to come.
How can I sign up?
- Sustaining Members forward to the Open Door their completed Sustaining Member Application along with authorization for monthly payments. Click here for the Sustaining Member Campaign Application
- At the beginning of each month, the Open Door will charge the designated account and send confirmation to the Sustaining Member.
