How Your Donation Helps

Named Scholarship Donor Program

The Open Door invites you to participate in our prestigious Named Scholarship program. Your company name or family name will be honored by awarding scholarships to individuals that excel academically and who need financial assistance to achieve their dreams of becoming an IT professional.

Lasting scholarships in your family or company name will be established at the Foundation. You will have the opportunity to select the geographic focus of the scholarship. If no geographic focus is designated, the scholarship will be awarded through Open Door's National Scholarship Program. By aligning your organizations name with the Open Door, you are informing your clients, your employees and your competitors that your are committed to IT. You will stand above the rest and provide valuable opportunities to future IT professionals.

Participation in the Named Scholarship Program requires a minimum gift of $25,000.

Seventy-five percent of your gift will be invested in a secure fund and revenues from that fund will determine the scholarship amount awarded each year. This is an opportunity to establish a lasting tribute to your family or company. Twenty-five percent of your donation will be allocated to support the development of outreach programs, website support, and the administrative functions of the Foundation.
